  • Physical Education Mastery – what does it look like? How do we achieve it?
  • Assessing without Levels – for greater inclusive progress, higher standards and less admin for teachers. A simple effective framework is presented and new standards are shared
  • Effective curriculum design – a mastery curriculum providing greater opportunity for higher standards
  • The new GCSEs, GCE AS & A Levels. Insight is provided in to the changes towards a higher performing system and how to achieve great results in the short and longer term

The framework for school inspection from January 2012

Ofsted revealed its framework for school inspection on 30th September 2011. It sets out the statutory basis for inspection and summarises the main features of school inspections carried out under section 5 of the Education Act 2005 from January 2012. This is a draft framework and is marked as such because these changes to inspection arrangements are subject to Parliamentary approval when the Education Bill receives Royal Assent. Click here to access the new framework.

See the afTLC Ltd calendar to ascertain when we are running courses around the new Ofsted framework with a focus on the implications for physical education.
