Given the continuation of government policies following the recent general election week 1 courses have been designed to ensure both compliance with legislation and higher standards for pupils. These are suitable for physical education teachers in both the primary and secondary sectors.

Week 2
This week long course is an introduction to teaching. It replaces the old award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). The qualification provides you with the knowledge and skills to plan, deliver, manage, facilitate, assess and review learning sessions and this acts as an introduction to teaching/training in the further education and skills sector, as CPD to teaching assistants or coaches in a school setting or for personnel who provide training within a workplace.
